Catchball in developing countries

The Catchball Association is also bringing the news of catchball to developing countries in Africa and the Far East. For example, delegations of catchball players vacationing in the Phillipines are going to schools there to teach the game in the hope that these children will continue to invest time in playing sport and catchball in the future.

Catchball unifies communities, empowers women, builds women's leadership and

encourages entrepeneurship.

Deligations of philanthropic organizations that are going to Africa with aid to disadvantaged populationsare also teaching catchball to the locals. This is providing young children, adolescent girls and women much enjoyment and an energetic and positive pastime.
